All Blinged Out - Borghese Lira and Milani Jewel FX Gold

This was my birthday manicure - gold and more gold!  Not something I'd wear every day but certainly appropriate for special occasion mani, no?

I started with Borghese Lira

Then I layered over Milani Jewel FX Gold, a chunky gold glitter.

Now that's what I call in-your-face blingtastic!

I have several other golds in my collection, but the Borghese Lira matches/compliments the color of yellow gold jewelry best.

I rarely wear really chunky glitters, partly because I generally prefer simple and elegant and while glitters are certainly fun and can be "done down" or played to the hilt, but mainly because I am just too lazy for the horrendous removal process.  There.  I said it.  I can be lazy.
