This is my favorite "drugstore" brand. The brush is perfection, as is the application for *most* of the polishes. My only complaint? They need to produce more colors!!!
Here are a few swatches...

Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro Steel Grey

Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro Steel Grey |
|
Steel Grey with Love & Beauty Silver/Clear glitter layered on top |
This is the closest "dupe" I can find for Chanel Particuliere and it's my "go-to polish. A great neutral with enough contrast against my pasty-pale skin not to wash me out.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro Marine Blue |
No complaints on this one - I don't do blues well, but I think this had just enough green in it to work.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro Violet Metal |
|
Rimmel Lasting Pro Violet Metal |
The Violet Metal is the only one so far with which I've had application problems - and that's not to say that it's not still okay, but I'm lazy. I don't like to have to do cleanup or wait too long between coats. The color is worth it, though. Just like the name indicates, it's a metal violet. The color doesn't disappoint.
|
Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro Crushed Pearl |
The Crushed Pearl is very translucent, which is not really my thing. I have nails (even without polish stain) that are on the yellowish side, which distorts sheers more than I am comfortable with. I do wear it when I chop all my nails off though.
These photos are older, but from now on, when taking photos for the blog, I will make sure to do closeups so that the color is shown in the best, truest light.
