Wet n Wild Craze Nocturnal and Joe Fresh Twilight

Well I pulled this one out for "black and/or blue" week and got a lil surprise! This is Wet n Wild Craze in Nocturnal and I really thought it was black.  Doesn't it look black here?

Well guess what!  It's a really, really dark teal blue.  Don't believe me?

I didn't intend to wear it alone anyway - still not over my aversion to strictly black polish on my nails. And since it read black on me anyhow, I went ahead with the layering.  It was a little on the thick side, but application wasn't really bad.  I used two coats, but one would have sufficed, especially with the layering.

Twilight is a green flaky in a blackened base and as with most layering polishes, it's pretty thick to keep the flakies suspended. It could certainly be used alone though - it would be opaque in two coats for sure.

While this would look really good on a LOT of people, it was just a little too far outside my comfort zone and didn't stay on long.
