Apparently I did have a bad bottle. However, while 3 coats is now sufficient, I still have a very slight VNL. Not bad though.
But really, for all the trouble, not sure it's worth it since I have China Glaze China Rouge. The only difference I can tell (and I've looked under every possible lighting situation) is China Rouge is easier to apply, only takes two coats and doesn't leave VNL.
Don't get me wrong, I do love a great Chanel polish, but FOR ME, this one isn't it.
Sorry about the lack of clean-up in these photos. Take a look and judge for yourself.
Can you tell which fingers are sporting Chanel Pirate? |

How about you?
Oh, no way. I'd definitely go for the ChG! What a great comparison.
ReplyDeleteGood to know that China Rouge is a dupe, very helpful post!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole and hermetic for your comments! I didn't really address Perfect 10 Take Charge because the finish and application aren't as good as China Rouge.
