After the last few posts of polishes that were a MISS for me, I thought I'd do a HIT post! Nails, Inc. Autumn Winter Collection 2011 consisting of Fenchurch Street, Charing Cross, Paddington (NOT to be confused with Paddington Street) and St. Pancras!
These were my first Nails, Inc. polishes and I loved them! The formulas were good and the brush was fine. Skinny but cut well. Easy application. (In order to show the polishes truthfully, as always, no cleanup and no top coat in any of the photos unless specifically noted.)
First up,
Fenchurch Street. It's a great orange-rust creme that reminds me of a rich pumpkin spice. It went on smoothly and is probably a one-coater, but I used two. Very creamy and smooth. No issues at all and I ADORE the color. This one will need a top coat though.

Next we have
Charing Cross. It's a bright red jelly. Candy Apple Red! Application was fine (except that I don't get along with jellies) and those of you who love a great jelly will love this. I used three coats because I hate visible nail line and that *almost* got rid of it. It's very pretty and bright! (and glossy - these are with no top coat, remember!)

Paddington. Paddington is a medium to dark grey creme. I'd call it dark grey, but that's based on how it looks against my very pale skin. It's not quite as dark as some others like NARS Galion. Maybe in the same range as Dior Perfecto? But unlike those, I'd say it has a bit of a green undertone. Application and formula were great...very creamy and smooth. No issues at all. I'd say it's a one-coater, but I used two as usual.

Sorry for the lens smudge. I can't imagine what I got on it, but I'm blaming the dogs.
And finally we have
St. Pancras. It's a deep, vampy russet/brick red that applied like a crelly (a creme/jelly mix) finish for me. It went on smoothly with no issues and dried to a nice, glossy finish. Full opacity in two coats.

I'd say they picked the perfect colors for a fantastic fall collection. And I love that they're named after London railway stations!
All four of these (yes, even the jelly) are HITS for me! My favorite, of course, is Fenchurch Street. It's just "my" color.
I ordered these from
Beauty Bay in the UK (because I waited too long for them to still be available at Sephora) and had a fantastic e-tailer experience with them. I'm pretty sure the "set" which came in a nice little box, is Limited Edition. So if you want it and don't have it yet, hurry!
