To see what it's SUPPOSED to look like, check it out here.
Here's my first attempt. (Don't LAUGH!)
Random lavender polish first...I started out pretty good!
Then comes the dripping part. I didn't do so well here. It's where it all started to go wrong. Random green.
See, I've already got "goopy" going on.
And the final "drip" part is with Orly Wild Wisteria.
It's not the WORST attempt at "nail art" I've tried so far, but I'm not ready to say #winning yet.
What do you think? Will you try it? Love the look if I can get it to improve on my next try. I'm not giving up yet!
If you enjoyed this post, please take a second to "like" it! Thanks!

You did better than I would have! That's really not a bad attempt though!
ReplyDeleteI love the purple/green combo you used! I have been wanting to try this for ages but figured I would mess it up like all other nail art attempts. LOL I think it is great, it doesn't have to be perfect, it is supposed to look a little messy.
ReplyDeleteHere's a different take on the dripping look. I didn't do this but I follow the blog that did. http://www.amberdidit.com/2012/03/you-cant-have-rainbow-without-little.html But I love yours. I think it's a much better job then you give yourself credit for. :)
ReplyDeleteit *looks* the same :) just more goopy.. maybe do a mixture with like thinner for the top layers?
ReplyDeletebtw what is that base colour? *_*
I think this is pretty darn good for a first attempt!
ReplyDeleteYour colour scheme is gorgeous.
I agree with Amanda - this is a very good first attempt! I wasn't crazy about the green you used, but with the purple on top it looks great. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't do these, either. I think I tried once on one nail and gave up. I do love the colors you chose!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute!! :D Great colour combination too!
ReplyDeleteI think its great! You almost got it...I've would of done much much worst lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the link, I didnt know that blog, look interesting!
