Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day! My FAVORITE holiday!
Why? Well, it's just a happy day. No one expects anything so no disappointments. No money to spent on gifts, no fretting over WHICH gifts.
And it's IRISH! What could be better?
I made several attempts at a great St. Paddy's Day mani. Several FAILED attempts. The failed tape mani resulted in polish up my arm and tape on my elbows. Yes, I'm super talented that way. The striper brush free-hand brought out the OCD in me and nearly drove me over the edge. The stamping resulted in profanity - I cussed everyone from whoever thought of stamping to start with to the manufacturer of the plate, stamper, scraper, etc.
So this is what I finally ended up with...not original, not complicated. But I've gotten so many compliments on it!
I was, however, surprised at the number of people who don't know what the Irish flag looks like. SHAME ON YOU if you don't!

I still say this is amazing!!!! You are more talented than you give yourself credit for. And I didn't even know that's what a striper brush looks like. LOL Happy St. Patrick's Day!

ReplyDeleteI think I just peed my pants laughing at your post! Your end result is fabulous! I love the freehand clover! I have yet to master alot of freehand because I get shaky hands and my OCD makes me mental! :)
