Today is Holo Appreciation Day! (Well actually it's Saturday May 19th but this is my first time using InLinkz so I needed to figure it out.) I, along with several other FAB bloggers are participating in this to show our love for holos. And as you guys know, I DO love a good LINEAR holo!
Since I just got this one recently and hadn't even had a chance to wear it yet, I decided to take this opportunity to wear

Answers to a few FAQs: No, I don't use a special base for my holos. Never do. With any of them. No, I haven't found that adding a top coat diminishes the holographic effect. So far I haven't personally had it happen, that is. There are some top coats that I've heard of that might diminish the holo effect, but I don't use them or remember what they are. I mostly use Cult Nails Wicked Fast and Poshe.
I wish I could tell you where you can get this, but all I can say is IF you're able to find it, GRAB IT. There are some other great holos out these days like the Layla holographic polishes and Make Up Store holos, but we qent quite a while between the China Glaze OMG Collection being discontinued and the arrival on the scene of these "new" ones. So the OMGs will still hold a special place in the hearts of true nail polish addicts.

ReplyDeleteThis is the only one I own from the OMG collection and I'm so glad I do because I love it. Pretty much the only place you can find them now is on ebay and they're way expensive. Also, I'm glad I happened to be wearing A England's Tristam today. That way I inadvertently celebrated with you! :)
