Chanel Coco Blue - Swatches and Review

Today I'm wearing Chanel Coco Blue. Yes, I am THAT far behind! But I'm just now starting to embrace blues that aren't royal or navy, so this is progress, my friends, yes it is!

Coco Blue was one of the three limited edition polishes in Chanel's Les Jeans Collection for Fashion's Night Out 2011.

Chanel Coco Blue is a soft light blue with a nice amount of shimmer and its application was actually good. I've had trouble in the past with lighter blues and mint greens, no matter the brand, so I was beginning to think it was just something about those paler colors that made the formula so difficult, but this one was smooth and creamy and I had no issues. I used one light coat and one medium coat for full opacity.

After wearing it alone, I decided to pull out one of my still untried Lynnderella polishes...Love Lace & Lilacs.

What do you think? Should I start looking for the other two blues in Chanel's Les Jean Collection? And how do you like Love Lace and Lilacs?  I'm still not a "glitterbomb" kinda gal, so it's rather nice to have something a bit more understated in a glitter polish.

If you enjoyed this post, please take a second to "like" it! Thanks!

  2. I have had this nail polish since last fashion's night out when it was first issued. I was a bit skeptical when I first saw it in the bottle but when I wore it took me five seconds to change my mind and it has become my favorite baby blue.

  6. I'm not usually a huge fan of these types of blues either (on me at least) but this is stunning on you. I may have to add it to my wish list. *le sigh* And it looks pretty with LL&L, great combo!

  8. I love the blue and I think one accent nail in glitter on each hand can really dress up a manicure.
