Chanel Holiday - Swatches and Review and a Comparison

Ready for more Chanel?  Tonight I have Chanel Holiday! I passed this up the first time I saw it because "I already have SO many oranges." Mistake. Holiday is gorgeous! Its from Chanel's Summer 2012 Collection, along with Island and Delight, both of which I DID pass on. They're pretty but don't go with my skin tone at all.

Holiday is a bright hot orange creme (or possibly crelly?) with some slight red and brown undertones that applies smoothly and is opaque in 3 coats. I might have used 4 coats on some of my fingers but I'm funny about visible nail lines. Most of you will need only 2 or maybe 3 coats. Formula is fantastic.

Of course it started looking familiar to me after I had it on, so I went searching through my stash of oranges and only one came close.  Dior Aloha!  So I did a quick nail wheel swatch. They aren't dupes of each other, however, most people would only really need one of the two. Except "collectors" of course. Hahaha!  Holiday has a teensy bit more brown in it while Aloha is a bit more "jelly-like" in finish.

And finally, after wearing it for a day, I decided to break out Lynnderella Cauldron Drippings to layer over it.
