Whichever is the case, IMO, China Glaze Hyper Haute and OPI DS Extravagance are definitely NOT dupes. The ones who seem to say that they are dupes in their blogs never seem to have photos, so to settle it once and for all, here are a few shots.

ReplyDeleteMy definition of dupes is the exact same as yours, so no, these aren't dupes. But they're both pretty :)
ReplyDeleteA lot of people use "dupe" too lightly these days, I think. If something is close enough to kill a lemming, maybe, they seem to use it, rather than reserve it for true "duplicates".

ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you- those are not dupes! Gorgeous polishes, and I wouldn't feel the need to own both, but definitely not dupes. To me, dupes are things like Chanel Jade vs. Milani Dress Maker.
