Revlon Moon Candy Nail Polish Duo Sticks

Inserting a "quick and dirty" post to show you the new Revlon Moon Candy Nail Polish Duos.

Revlon Moon Candy Flaky Duos

All of the colors are cremes (except the burgundy which is a crelly) and all of the flakies seem to be in an oily base that makes getting good coverage in one coat nearly impossible unless you load the brush and dot it on the nail. Most of the cremes are very good.  My observations are as follows:

Orbit: Purple - One coat, great application
Cosmic: Green - streaky first coat, better 2nd coat, 3rd needed to cover cuticle drag and even it out
Galactic: Blue - One medium/heavy coat or 2 light coats, great application
Universe: Brown - 2 coats, better than the green, but not perfect
Super Nova Light Grey - One coat, great application
Milky Way: Dark Grey - One coat, great application
Satellite: Burgundy - 2 coats for opacity because it's a crelly, good application
Moon Dust: Black - One coat, great application

All in all, not a bad collection. More of a novelty, in my opinion. My Walgreens had Revlons buy one get one 50% off but they retail for $7.99. I'd say if you have a halfway decent collection of flakies/polishes already, you can probably skip these. But if you don't, it's a great way to get "the look for less."
