Dior Black Sequins. I'm slowly expanding my horizons. I would have NEVER worn black nail polish until recently and I still really don't wear a straight black creme or black matte. But this one is a great compromise for me. This isn't just your plain ole black. It's not even a plain black with silver shimmer.

Application was typical Dior. Smooth and easy. Two coats for opacity.
But what makes this one unique?
Let's take a closer look...

That's not silver shimmer - it's irregularly shaped small FLAKES!
And this next photo isn't very good as I've scratched the top coat, but it's the only one I took where you can see that it's not just a straight silver irregular flaky particle...do you see the blue??? Dior doesn't do anything "typical."

I just love it and other than the blacks I use for layering/underwear, I think this one might be the one I can wear alone!
What do you think? Do you have it? It's long discontinued, but still easily found on eBay for reasonable prices.

I'm not into plain black polishes either, but this looks like a really nice compromise. I don't have it though. :)

I also don't wear plain black cream - it does not look good on me. I need a blued black or a red black...but I could wear this. This is delightfully lovely!
