Rescue Beauty Lounge Anne - Swatches and Review

Rescue Beauty Lounge Anne is from the 2010 Fall Collection - named after wives of Henry VIII.

Check out the pink/violet shimmer...

Rescue Beauty Lounge Anne

Anne, named for Anne Boleyn, is a greyed olive green that has gold, green and pink/violet shimmer infused throughout. The formula was good and application was easy. Opaque in two medium coats. This one reads differently in different lights so I've taken a few extra photos. Indoors in artificial light, the gold shimmer is more prominent, giving it a nice glow and causing it to read as a warm color. In indirect natural light, the pink shows up and it reads cooler. It's a very interesting color that reminds me a bit of Zoya Edyta. They're not dupes, however - the finish is quite different.

  2. The color is amazing. No doubt. But since I do not have any respect to Misses RBL, I must admit your tip wear issue made me smile...

  3. This is such a pretty color. The shimmer - wow! But the tip wear is pretty noticeable for doing nothing but sleeping.

  5. Beautiful!!! I have Anne too (along with some of her pals ;-) I did experience similar tipwear issues until I invested in RBL's Ridge Filler Base Coat. Ever since I get at least 4 days of wear out of RBL's polishes including typing and dishwashing. I don't know if you use Base Coat though.

  6. Such gorgeous photos! Anne is the only Rescue Beauty polish I own. I really, really love the color, but get below average wear time as well. I got this one when it was first released, and the formula has been gunky since shortly after I got it. I need to add some thinner. It also has a wonky brush. :( Not cool for an $18 of polish. For those reasons, she'll probably stay my only RBL.
