IC/BPS Awareness Month - Teal in September Blogger Collaboration

Dior Nirvana with Haze Glaze Fiero

September is IC (Interstitial Cystitis) Awareness month. IC is also referred to as BPS (Bladder Pain Syndrome.) To find out more information about it, please visit 'About IC/BPS' here.  To raise awareness I, along with several other bloggers, are polishing our nails teal to show our support. There is also a nail art contest in the spirit of IC awareness over at Jenna's blog! Visit her to find out more about the rules and see her great prizes. Also please take a moment to support the cause by sharing her blog post on Facebook.

I'm wearing Dior Nirvana with a glitter gradient using Haze Glaze Fiero.

  6. Bless You! I had no idea there was an 'IC month'. Having suffered with it for 7-8 years now (although I know I don't have it nearly as bad as many having never actually passed visible blood, still, some days feel like I have a bladder full of napalm) and knowing how very little was known about it when I was first diagnosed (I had to tell my doctor what IC was having done a lot of online research, before he would even check for it), I am ecstatic that it is finally getting some serious attention. My nails will be varying shades of teal for the rest of the month and if I have Smurf nails until Turkey Day, oh well, that to will pass. Thank you so much for making me aware of this.
