SpaRitual Spread Your Wings - Swatches and Review

Good morning! I have a quick one for you today - SpaRitual Spread Your Wings.

Spread Your Wings is part of their Spring 2010 Believe Collection.

This one has been described as a creme by some and a jelly by others. I think they're both wrong and both right. I think it's a crelly (creme/jelly hybrid.) SpaRitual describes this color as "pomegranite" and I think that's a great description. If you have a y-chromosome, it's red. I'd even go so far as to call it a vampy red. The formula is jelly-ish but it does cover well in two coats and it applies more like a creme. I had no issues with this one. Shown with 2 coats and no top coat. I think I would actually do 3 coats of this one just to make up for my problem I always have applying jellies - I tend not to get the same coverage on each nail. I have no idea WHY, but it's my fault and not the fault of the polish. It happens for me with any jelly/crelly I've ever used. I guess I'm just not consistent from one nail to the next.

So what do you think of this one? I'd say it's more of a fall/winter color than a spring/summer one actually, so I'm glad I'm just pulling it out now!

SpaRitual polishes retail for $10 and are available at various retailers and spas.

  2. I think it's very pretty on you, but I'm not a fan of jellies, and I'm not sure I'm a fan of crellies either :)
