I'm really excited to show you the new Santa Claws Collection from Jindie Nails! It's making its debut Thursday, November 1st, 2012.

Jindie Nails Santa Claws Collection 2012 |
There are a LOT of photos, so fair warning. Because of that, I'm going to just dive in head first and get right to it. (Apologies in advance for the acetone cuticles.)
First up,
Santa Claws - white, red, green matte square glitters in a clear base with a few black squares. It's Santa's outfit and the black glitters are his belt buckle! Perfect suspension of glitters, everything laid perfectly flat and I had no issues at all. I layered 2 coats over Sinful Colors Exotic Green and followed up with one coat of Poshe.
NOTE: Any bubbles you see in the close-up photos are due to the top coat
and not the polish. They were only visible in the close-ups
and once completely dry, I didn't see them at all.

Next is
Mrs. Claws. This one is a medium to dark pink linear holo - more of a light berry color. This one applied perfectly as well. Two easy coats and no top coat. LOVE.

Noel is next - It's a clear base with red, white and neon green ultrafine hex glitters and metallic green sparkle. This one has the same base, so glitters were suspended and dispersed perfectly. No issues at all with application. I layered this one over Sinful Colors Exotic Green and used one coat of Poshe as a top coat.

Holly. This one is green and white matte hex glitters with larger matte red hexes and dark green shimmer in a clear base. It really does look like a holly bush! Again, no application problems at all. Everything applied smoothly and evenly. I used one coat of this over a light-to-medium grey creme, Essence Romeo (but you can see other layering combos on this one at the end.) One coat of Poshe.

Silent Night. This one is a dark blue jelly with lavender shimmer and silver holographic stars, crescent moons and hexes. I had to fish a little for the stars and moons, but it wasn't difficult. It's a true jelly but I used two coats for opacity. The base is a teeny bit thicker than the others, but nowhere near thick enough to think about adding thinner. Just thicker than the clear-based glitters. One coat of Gelous on top.

Blue Blue Christmas (appears as Blue Blue Xmas on the bottle but I never shorten the word) is a bright blue linear holographic polish. Formula is the same as Mrs. Claws. No issues at all - great application. The linear holo isn't quite as strong as in Mrs. Claws but it's still definitely a linear. I used 2 coats for opacity and no top coat.

Kiss Me Under the Mistletoe. This one is WOW in a bottle. Truly. It's a gorgeous red jelly with light green, dark green and gold holographic hex glitters. I used two coats on all but the accent finger where I've only used one coat! One coat of Poshe top coat on all.

Just Elfing Around. This one is pastel green, white and red hex and silver and lime green holo hex in a clear base. This one is my favorite of the glitters in this collection. I had to fish for the red glitters a bit but nothing troublesome. I randomly got one or two per hand, but I'm a bit retentive, so... Perfect suspension and application. I layered 2 coats of this one over a medium grey creme, Kiko 327 Granite Grey and followed with one coat of Poshe.

And the last one. I hate for this to end!
Candy Cane. This one is a white crelly base with red matte and red metallic hex glitters and a some metallic green hexes with green sparkle. You could certainly wear this one on its own with 2 to 3 coats, but I layered 2 light coats of it over a white creme base and followed up with one coat of Poshe.

Well, those are all of the polishes I have to show you BUT...We aren't done yet! I did a few layering combos so you could see other options. Honestly, the layering combos are limitless. But this is what I did playing around with them to decide what bases to use for some of the glitters.
This is
Holly over (I) Essence Romeo (M) Chanel Dragon (R) Sinful Colors Exotic Green and (P) plain white creme...

Here are a few layered over a plain black creme...
And finally, a few of the glitters over Essence Romeo, a medium grey creme.
So what do you think? Which are your favorites? Honestly, there wasn't ONE I didn't like, which is rare. I guess if I had to pick my least favorite, it would be Silent Night just because I'm not a huge fan of star glitter. My favorites? *sigh* That's hard. Probably Kiss Me Under the Mistletoe, Mrs. Claws and Just Elfing Around. But then I see Holly over the red and I'm all mixed up again.
