It's Monday. Bah. So how about a happy color to start the week? I wore this last week, pre-chop, but it's still pretty to look at.
Catherine Arley is a Turkish brand and polish isn't allowed to be shipped out of Turkey anymore - for now. So your best bet to get your hands on these at the moment is through blogs sales - or to have a friend in Bulgaria. There's a store there who sells them and will ship internationally, but I've heard horror stories about the lack of packing materials and broken polishes. So the search continues for a reliable on-line store...I will keep you posted.
Another brand that just uses numbers.
Catherine Arley #677 is a berry holo polish. I am going to call it a tightly scattered holo instead of a linear holo but in direct sunlight, sometimes I question if it really is a loose linear. The holo is not really that strong though. Either way, it's one of my favorite colors (along the lines of OPI DS Extravagance, China Glaze Hyper Haute, etc. - no none of them are exact dupes - just the same color family/similar finish.) Application was great, as with all the CAs I've tried so far. Two coats for full opacity. No special base coat needed and I use Poshe on it without it diminishing the holo. These photos, however, are without top coat.

ReplyDeletei've bought catherine arley polishes with some friends a time ago, and everything was okay. And i'm from Brazil , it's a longgggggggg ride...and by the way, brazilian air mail service sucks! I think they change their packing materials's method.Beautifull polish and great pics as always!
