Okay, okay...so I'm eating my words. But oh they are a black cherry, luscious mouthful.
I passed on Chanel Malice online. I passed TWICE when I saw it in person. The words? It's not that unique. It will be too metallic. (I hate metallic reds.) I have others that are close enough.I'm so happy that I picked it up this evening, though.
Malice is a blackened cherry Bordeaux kind of color with a strong inner glow. The formula is really good on this one and application was smooth and easy. I used two coats for opacity and one coat of Poshe as a top coat.

However, once I saw someone's swatches, and then it featured in a Canadian fashion magazine (I love how they create pools of colour on the page, but hate the thought of them wasting such precious polish!). I'll be putting this on soon - just finishing off wearing blues for November (Diabetes awareness), but soon my pretty... soon!!

ReplyDeleteLove this color! I have yet to own a Chanel polish because of the price tag. Maybe I will put it on my Christmas list. I can hear the hubby now, "$26 for a bottle of NAIL POLISH. You're crazy!" Ahhh, if he only knew.

I also passed on it when I saw it in store twice and I have regretted it many times, as Chanel Polishes are almost $40 a bottle here, so I feel like I have missed my opportunity until some time next year lol... It is very high on my wish list! :) Great swatches x
