I'm pretty excited for a couple of reasons tonight. I am migraine free and the latest Dandy Nails collection is AWESOME!
This collection is different than anything she's done so far and I must say, it's right up my alley. Formula on all of them is fantastic. I had no issues with ANY of the five polishes I'll be showing you.
So let's just dive right in...
Bory-Alice is a gorgeous multi-chrome polish flashing blue, teal and purple. Two coats for opacity, no "underwear" needed. The depth of this one is stunning and no photos can capture it in all its glory but I have quite a few here in my attempt...

Cashmere Night is a purple matte with blue microflakes and what looks to me like pink shimmer. It's really got a great, smooth formula. Sometimes matte formula can be tricky but this one was smooth and easy. Full opacity in two easy coats.

Chilled Down is an off-white base full of blue and gold flakes and gold shimmer. The fact that the base isn't a bright white makes this one totally wearable, not only for me and my pale skin, but for both cool and warm toned skin alike. Formula on some of the white based polishes can be thick and unmanageable but this one surprised me completely and was smooth and easy in two coats. No issues at all.

Highest Ground is a light aquablue shimmer base with tons of royal blue and light aqua microglitter. I keep repeating myself, but the formula was perfect and fully opaque in two coats.

And finally we have Moonglow. This one is a HOLO! It's a silver or gunmetal grey polish with a tightly scattered holo and it's stunning. I've taken photos in the sun and the shade for you. Shown in photos with no top coat but I added one later and it did not diminish the holographic properties at all. Two coats shown here for full opacity.

And there you have it - Dandy Nails Winter Collection 2012. I like that these are ALL wearable year-round and not one single one let me down. I can't even pick a favorite. Sandy really outdid herself with this offering. What do you think? Which are your favorites?
