Since I missed Copy-Caturday last Saturday and I'll likely miss it this Saturday as I'll be going out of town, I thought I'd drop a little Easter Nail Art on you that I came up with this morning.
And it shows a semi-success and a fail. LOL!
First, the semi-success...
Easter Nail Art - Flowers bunny and Easter egg |
I used Dior Lilac Colorvision as the base on all but the middle nail which is The Nail Junkie Matte Daffodil and layered on Different Dimension Wide Awake (holo) on 3 nails. I used Illamasqua Smash as the green and the following: Zoya Blu, The Nail Junkie Matte Rose, AquaDaisy Shazaam, Cult Nails Time Traveler, Pure Ice Superstar and Zoya Neely.
Sort of a deranged bunny and a rather crooked Easter egg, but I'm okay with it. LOL! It was the top coating that did me in. I top coated all nails except the middle nail with Poshe and decided to go matte on the middle nail.
Wrong choice. Even though I was SURE it was 100% dry, THIS is what happened...
Easter Nail Art - Flowers bunny and Easter egg The matte top coat on the middle nail was very poor decision! |
EWWWWWWW!!!! Runny eggs!
EDITED TO ADD: This is how I "fixed" it - I removed the runny egg and layered Dior Lilac Colorvision and Lynnderella LavenDear, Forget You Not and Ice the Snowcake.
There you have it! I enjoyed creating it even if I did promptly ruin it! Please feel free to share any Easter or Spring nail art on my Facebook page and HAPPY EASTER!

This is so freaking cute!! It sucks that it smeared but it is still so cute. ♥
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! It's really cute. I hate it when that happens with a topcoat. It's happened to me after stamping before x
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable. I love the little bunny peeking into the frame and your flowers are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute!! I love your bunny and I ADORE your flowers!!! They look so amazing!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo sad that the top coat smeared the egg :-( I wish you just re-did the egg and keep this mani! It's super adorable!!!
btw - if I have some very detailed mani that I want to mattify, I usually use one coat of normal top coat (seche or HK Girl) and use my matte on that ;-)
