Good Morning! This morning I have another polish from Literary Lacquer's The Good Parts Collection: Woman of Pleasure.
Here's what the maker had to say about Woman of Pleasure:
This polish is inspired by Fanny Hill: Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure written by John Cleland in 1748 (!!) and then promptly banned for over 200 years. Fanny Hill is the story of an orphaned teen who goes to London to seek her fortune. Shortly after her arrival, she finds herself living in a brothel where she witnesses many interesting acts. She falls in love before losing her all important (read financially valuable) virginity and becomes a kept woman.
Woman of Pleasure has a periwinkle crelly (creme jelly) base with navy and lavender sparkle, matte light pink, large navy hexes, and magenta circle glitter. Full coverage in 2 thicker or 3 thin coats. I like to drag the almost dry brush over the last coat to fully uncover the glitter there for maximum sparkle.
This one was opaque for me in 3 coats (as shown on the thumb) but for the rest of the mani, I layered this one over a periwinkle creme polish that matched perfectly. I really couldn't tell the difference in the layered nails and the thumb with Woman of Pleasure alone. I had no issues at all with formula or application. One coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

What do you think of this one? I love periwinkle and the fuchsia circle glitters and the combo is just stunning.

I love the colour, love the glitters...for me it could be just a little bit less creme and more jelly... The swatches are fab! :-)

ReplyDeleteAmazing polish! I checked the etsy shop out and now I need to keep myself from ordering A LOT OF AWESOME POLISHES :(
ReplyDeleteThis is really pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the name of the polish that you layered this over?
ReplyDeleteIt's not layered over anything in the thumb and it's over Above the Curve Caty-Perry-winkle on the fingers. ♥
