FNUG Cashmere Sweater - Swatches and Review

Press Sample
*This product is Cruelty Free

Tonight I have the last of the 3 FNUG cremes I have to show you. If you missed the first two, check them out! First Mover and Flip Flop.

This one is called Cashmere Sweater. It's a great medium camel creme. I used two coats and no top coat for the photos. No issues to report at all EXCEPT now that I've seen my photos up close and personal, I must apologize for the lack of proper clean up! Sorry!

What do you think of this one? It is really a "comfortable" color to wear - like a soft cashmere sweater! I wear colors like this one year 'round, so it will get lots of use.

FNUG polishes are available at Llarowe and retail for $14.50 per bottle. You can also check out theFNUG Facebook page and the Llarowe Facebook page for swatches, deals and other information.

Good evening! If you follow on Facebook or Twitter, you've seen this gorgeous polish - I posted a preview several days ago. If not, you're in for a treat. 6 Harts Polish created one of my favorites of the year, so far. Bat Crap Crazy. And the NAME! LOL! Love it.

I used  2 coats of Bat Crap Crazy with one coat of top coat for the photos and had no issues with formula or application.

Sweetcheeks Polish Eric, Jerrica and Jetta - Swatches and Review

Press Sample
*This product is Cruelty Free

Good morning! It's still rainy here, which makes me a happy gal. Hope you're happy too when you see the 3 polishes I have for you from Sweetcheeks Polish!

Sweetcheeks Polish is a hand-poured indie that is 3-Free and Cruelty Free. $1 of the proceeds from every polish sold will be donated to the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association, VOKRA.

Eric, Jerrica and Jetta

Eric Based on Eric Raymond from the 80's TV show Jem and The Holograms. Eric Raymond is the main bad guy in the series, a greedy and manipulative music executive who initially runs Starlight Music at the time of Jerrica's fathers death. Handsome and extremely devious, he is a very smart and savvy (albeit dishonest) business man and will do almost anything to sabotage Jem and the Holograms, even trying to kill them!

Eric Raymond is a snake in a suit. This polish looks black in the bottle, but is actually a shade of browny/green, so it looks like a snakeskin. You can get full coverage on it's own, but put it over black and the snakeskin really pops!

I used 3 coats of this one alone without top coat first and then with one coat of Poshe top coat. I had no issues at all with this one and I loved it both matte and shiny!

First, without top coat...

JerricaJerrica is from the TV show Jem and The Holograms. Jerrica Benton inherited both Starlight Music and Starlight House from her late father Emmett Benton. Using the power of Synergy, Jerrica can become Jem by touching her Jemstar earrings. Synergy's holograms maintain the illusion that Jerrica and Jem are two different people, especially to her boyfriend, Rio. Jerrica tends to compartmentalize her life and even occasionally shows jealously toward her own alter-ego, Jem.

Jerrica is a nude holographic polish. The holo is slightly understated, though still sparkly, as is Jerrica's nature.

First I used 3 coats of this alone and then I layered one heavy coat over Eric. No issues at all with this one.

JettaBased on Jetta from the 80's TV show Jem and The Holograms. Jetta became a Misfit when Stormer hears her playing the saxophone. Jetta is a conceited, pathological liar and has very sticky fingers! Extremely perceptive and stuck-up, Jetta almost immediately begins a rivalry with fellow Misfit Roxy.

Jetta had the most fantastic hair, so the majority of this glitter polish is black microbar glitter. There is some gunmetal glitter to match her saxophone (can't forget that - I played the same sax in school!) and small white hex glitter for her polka dots. There's also some iridescent glitter for that Misfit glow!

This is a glitter topper and I layered it over Eric and I even wore it one day as an accent nail over Zoya Bobbi. No issues with formula or application with this one either!

Over Eric...

What do you think of these three? Which is your favorite? Mine has to be Eric. I love it with the "rubber" finish and with top coat. Just lovely!

Sea Lore Spring Seas Collection

Press Sample
*This product is Cruelty Free

Tonight I have Sea Lore's Spring Seas Collection for you! This time Sea Lore has created 5 new "sea" themed polishes:

Sea Lore Spring Seas Collection:
Jumping Jellyfish, Springing Seahorse, Popping Parrotfish,
Dancing Discus and Leaping Lyretail

I am sure you'll be seeing these on their own, but I've decided to layer them using coordinating "undies" - I've used Illamasqua bases that match.

Sea Lore Spring Seas Collection:
Jumping Jellyfish, Springing Seahorse, Popping Parrotfish,
Dancing Discus and Leaping Lyretail
with Illamasqua Cameo, Jo'Mina, Milf, Monogamous and Ruthless

As described by the maker:

Jumping JellyfishA cerulean blue jelly with tiny light blue glitters and blue circle glitter

Springing SeahorseA sparkling purple iridescent base with various shades of purple glitters

Popping ParrotfishA light mint creme with a sparkling green base and a glitter rainbow

Dancing DiscusA sheer soft peach with a shifting blue violet glow. She has various sizes of iridescent hexes, blue green squares and tiny golden glitters

Leaping LyretailA hot pink jelly with white squares, yellow and pink hexes and hot pink circle glitter

I used two coats of each polish and one coat of Poshe top coat for each of the polishes. No issues to report with any of them. All of the glitters came out of the bottle without fishing and applied smoothly without dabbing and laid flat on the nail.

I had a bit of a snafu on this one because I wrinkled the polish before it was dry and didn't notice until I saw the photos. I re-swatched it over Chanel Beige. Oops!

Well, what do you think? Which is your favorite? It was actually hard for me to decide with these but I think I'm going with...nope. Can't do it. I typed and erased 4 different ones. LOL! I mean did you SEE the shimmer in  Springing Seahorse? Or the circle glitters and squish-factor in Leaping Lyretail and and and...so you see how it's hard to choose.

This collection launched on Friday, April 26, 2013 and polishes are available through Sea Lore's site here and at Overall Beauty's site here and retail for $10 for full-sized bottles and $5.50 for minis. You can also follow Sea Lore on Facebook here and Overall Beauty on Facebook here for more information.
