Girly Bits Cosmetics - Spring It On Me!, Cherry Cherry Boom Boom and Emerald City

 *This product is Cruelty Free

Good Morning, IT'S FRIDAY! This morning I have 3 polishes from Girly Bits Cosmetics to show you:

Spring It On Me!
Cherry Cherry Boom Boom
Emerald City

Girly Bits Spring It On Me!

Spring It On Me! as described by the maker:

Spring It On Me! is a lightly tinted, lavender leaning milky base, with pink, pink holo, green, white, silver, and purple holo glitters. It's meant to be layered, and looks best over light pastel colours, or white or grey.

I'm sure this one looks great layered, however I chose to wear it and show it to you alone. I used 3 light coats and one light coat of top coat for the photos. It has just enough grey in the base not to give my pale skin the "dead hands" look and I had no issues at all with formula or application. All the glitters came out of the bottle easily and spread nicely on the nail. This is my favorite of the 3 I'm showing you today!

Girly Bits Cherry Cherry Boom Boom

Cherry Cherry Boom Boom as described by the maker:

It was originally part of the Concert Series; my tribute to Lady Gaga. But, she cancelled her tour days before the show in Michigan that we had tickets to. So it is being released as part of the regular line now, and if I ever get to see Gaga, it will be re-labeled and added to the Concert Series.

It is a cherry red jelly, with iridescent, red and pink hexes, squares and stars. The red is intense, so it can be worn alone, but it is very jelly, and can be layered over other colours for varying looks. Because of the larger hexes and stars, I suggest a good thick top coat for a super smooth feel.
AND it glows in black light! This has the trickiest application of the three I'm showing you today, but the payoff is worth it. If you do very light coats and wait a few minutes to do a glitter top coat, you won't have any trouble. It's a great jelly formula and the very light coats allow the glitters to spread out on the nail and not glop together. Squishy jelly finish!

Girly Bits Emerald City

Emerald City is part of the Spring It On Me Collection and it's an emerald green jelly. I used 3 light coats of this and no top coat for the photos. It has that great squishy jelly finish and dries to a super high shine. No issues with formula or application

    1. Spring it on Me was my favorite too. I take care to always try to do the best job polishing my nails that I can do to show off the polishes, but I also try to never go above and beyond what a normal person would do - you know, try to make them look better than they are? The formula on it was trickier than the others and I hope my pictures reflect an honest view of it so people can make the best purchasing decisions. For some, the formula would deter them from buying and for others, they might think it's worth it for the look.
