This week, the Thrifty Thursday's polishes are from Sinful Colors new line, SinfulShine with Gel Tech. I've done quick one-finger swatches for now of 14 of them. Yes if you saw my earlier post, you've seen these already!
Most of them are crelly and all are opaque in two coats and they shine like mad. I used no top coat for the photos and had no issues at all with formula or application. I'm Blushing is a tad thicker than the rest so very light coats are advised so it doesn't gloop up on you. Amazonia is a glass fleck and Man Hunt is a shimmer.

These are now popping up at Walgreen Stores nationwide. They hit my local Walgreens last Thursday but I was out of town so I didn't get to pick any up until last night. I'll have full swatches for you soon.
They retail for $2.99 each.
What do you think? Which ones are your favorites so far? (Did you see the shimmer in Pragmatic?) My favorites so far are Devious (because it's the perfect red crelly) and Alfresco and Pragmatic.

ReplyDeleteThese look great! I'm still stalking my Walgreen's but hopefully they'll turn up soon! I noticed a few weeks ago they moved their Sinfuls and it was quite empty in the surrounding area... waiting game. (sigh)
ReplyDeleteHow was the dry time on these after the second coat? I'm impatient and usually do my nails before bed so I use speed dry top coats to help ward off sheet marks.

They dry fast! I do mine before bed too. These don't need a top coat, BUT...the display with the new glitters? It has a top coat that is FABULOUS. Better than Seche - I've heard it's a "dupe" for the Dior Gel Coat top coat! It's Sinful Colors Professional Over the Top Topcoat. I picked it up last night when I got the SinfulShines and it dries super fast too.

ReplyDeleteHow is the wear-time on these polishes? They look gorgeous, but I was wondering if they have better stay time that regular sinful colors polish.
ReplyDeleteI love Amazonian and Alfresco, but truthfully I have my eye on several of these gorgeous polishes. The polish hoarder in me says I need them all!

No UV required - they're just regular polish.
