Zoya PixieDust Summer 2013 Collection with Psychedelic Sponge Mani

Are you ready for Zoya's Summer 2013 PixieDust Collection? I know you've seen tons of swatches already, but can there BE too many photos of nail polish? I think not.

This collection is made up of six new shades that included three new metallic PixieDust shades and 3 new shades in the original PixieDust formula. The first 5 have tonal glitter/sparkle while Stevie has silver glitter/sparkle.

Beatrix - light orange metallic sparkle
Destiny - red-leaning coral metallic sparkle
Liberty - marine blue sugar sparkle
Miranda - rose/raspberry sugar sparkle
Solange - yellow gold metallic sparkle (with real gold metallic pigment)
Stevie - lavender violet sugar with silver sparkle

I had a little fun with them first by doing a psychedelic sponge mani!

And then I got down to business.

The formula and application were the same on all 6 polishes. I used two coats for opacity and had no issues at all. These all go on surprisingly well considering the texture in them. Removal wasn't bad either. Not like a plain creme of course, but not nearly as bad as a full-on glitter. These are meant to be worn with no top coat. I have included a photo with a top coat for each one though, so you can see what they look like shiny. Where a top coat was used, it was one coat of Poshe.

So what do you think? Any favorites? I've tried a couple of "textured" polishes and the Zoya ones are my favorites as far as application, dry-time, over-all feel and removal.

These polishes, as well as 100s of other great Zoya polishes, are available on zoya.com, at select salons and spas and at Ulta. You can also follow Zoya on Facebook to get in on their frequent promotions and discounts as well as other information. The PixieDust polishes retail for $9 and their other polishes are still $8. Zoya lacquers are 5-free (free of DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor) and cruelty-free.
