I'm back with more polishes from JENsations! This time I have Rainbows & Unicorns and Budding Love to show you.
First up, Rainbows & Unicorns. It's described as "a mix of multi-sized metallic red, purple, green, blue, gold & orange hexagon glitter in a semi-sheer white jelly base. Great glitter topper or jelly sandwich!"
I disagree with the sheerness because it was opaque for me in 2 coats. I have to say that I am really impressed with the formula on this one. Milky-based glitter polishes sometimes give me issues because they can be gloopy or the glitters stick together or won't come out, etc. This one is perfect. I used 2 coats - 1 light coat and one medium coat - and one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos. No issues to report at all.

Budding Love
This one is described as "a mix of large matte light pink & hot pink hearts & daisy blossoms with a sprinkle of fine light pink hexagon glitter in a clear base."
The formula on this one was a bit thicker so recommend one light coat, placing the glitters and then following with one more light coat so that it doesn't get too much build up on the nail.
I used 2 coats over Dior Windsor and a generous coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

ReplyDeleteI just bought a Face Shop polish very similar to Rainbows & Unicorns (Vanilla Sugar Yogurt), but I also love this, especially the star shaped bottle!
ReplyDeleteOh my word, Rainbows & Unicorns!! I need it, I love white bases with coloured bits!! I have one JENsations, Rainbow Sprinkles, and I wear it over pretty much every pastel creme I own :) xx
