Happy Memorial Day everyone! Hope everyone remembers to Thank a Vet today.

This morning I have part 1 of a 2 part swatch and review of Serum No. 5's Glowmeleon Collection and 2 other polishes from their SS13 Collection.

Serum No. 5: Lei Down the Law and As a Matte'A Fact from SS13 and
Sunset Flare, Twilight Sparks, Burning Orchid and Eternal Sunshine
from the Glowmeleon Collection.

Today I have Lei Down the Law, As a Matte'A Fact and Burning Orchid for you. First, the 2 polishes from SS13: Lei Down the Law and As a Matte'A Fact.

Continued after the jump...

Lei Down the Law is a dense glitter polish described as a "bright neon mix in shades of gray and a glowing white." [This will be a summer limited edition color and will be sold through the end of August] I had no issues with this one at all - went on nicely and evenly and I used 3 coats alone for full coverage - although I am sure you could layer it as well.

Sorry I wasn't able to get a good photograph of Lei Down the Law in the dark but it does glow.

And then I used As a Matte'A Fact over it. As a Matte'A Fact is a matte top coat with shimmer! Here's what the creator had to say about it: There are so many matte topcoats out there that I wanted to do something a little different. This is a matte topcoat with shimmer in it, so it can give any polish especially cremes an almost suede finish.

That is a TOTALLY unique matte top coat and I love it!

And here's the first of 4 of the new Glowmeleon polishes: Burning Orchid. The Glowmeleon Collection consists of 4 Glow in the Dark polishes and I'll have the other 3 for you tomorrow!

Burning Orchid is a violet/purple Glow in the Dark top coat. No issues at all. One coat over black and one coat over white. I couldn't get it to glow in the dark on camera over black, but it really shines over white. It has a lot of visual interest either way.
