Tonight I have a treat for you - SoFlaJo's brand new collection for Summer 2013 - The Wet Dreams Collection. (Go ahead - snicker and get it out of your system!)

This collection consists of 6 new colors the maker describes as follows:

For the Halibut - A green/blue/gold shimmering polish

Gulfstream Dream - An ocean blue opaque polish full of holographic glitter

I'm A Star-fish - A yellowish-green polish full of heavy holographic glitter

My Sign's Aqua-rium - The color of a cool aqua pool with the little bit of sparkle when the sun glistens on it. This is a satin matte base full of shimmer

Salmon-Chanted Evening - a shimmer creme polish that flashes from pink to green in a light holographic base

Shark Bite - Sparkling rose red shimmer creme polish

So let's have a look!

I'll start with my favorite of the collection, Shark Bite. I love how complex this one really is up close and this is probably my favorite nail polish finish. I've used two coats of polish and I had no issues at all with formula or application. Went on smoothly and dried quickly. Just lovely.

Next, My Sign's Aqua-rium...I've used two coats of this one as well and I'm showing both with and without top coat. No issues, perfect formula. First, in indirect natural lighting...

Salmon-Chanted Evening - two coats for opacity. This is perfection in a bottle - just the right amount of holo and a great formula. No top coat in the photos. This one was the hardest for me to photograph because I couldn't capture the pink shift but it's there in real life.

For The Halibut has that same great finish I love (like in Shark Bite earlier) and the shimmer is fantastic. I've used two coats of this one for full opacity. No issues at all to report.

Gulfstream Dream has sort of a textured finish but one coat of top coat and if feels smooth. I've used two coats of color and one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos. I had no issues at all with this one either.

And the polish is out of focus on this one but I couldn't resist putting it in just because my photo-bomber is so cute! Twinks wants the flamingo that I received as a gift in my package!

And finally, I'm A Star-fish. This one is packed full of holographic glitter. The formula on this one was a bit thicker than the rest of them, but I didn't have any issues with application. However, I only used one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos and next time I'll probably use one coat of Gelous or another heavy glitter top coat before the Poshe just to give it a smoother look.

Overall? Fantastic collection - lots of variation in color and finish and my favorite, as I said earlier, is Shark Bite. What's your favorite? Will you be picking any of these up?
