Thrifty Thursday! Starring Milani Sail Away

Personal Collection
*This product is Cruelty Free

I'm back again with another thrifty polish for Thrifty Thursday! This time it's Milani Sail Away.

Sail Away was introduced as part of their Spring 2012 line and is now in their permanent line. It isn't one of their High Speed Fast Dry line however, it was a one-coater and dried super fast. It's a navy blue with tons of silver and lighter blue shimmer. Formula was smooth and creamy - no issues at all. One coat of polish and no top coat for the photos.

What do you think? I can't believe I've had this one for over a year and it's the first time I've tried it. I LOVED the formula!

Milani polishes are available at milanicosmetics.com and most drug and grocery stores all over the US. This one retails for $4.49. But drug stores frequently have sales on them.

If you enjoyed this post, please take a second to "like" it! Thanks!

  1. This color is actually on clearance for 75% at CVS. I was wanting to get it but it was all gone at mine. After seeing these swatches I want it even more! Lovely job. =)

  2. I used to be obsessed with shimmer polished but not anymore. I don't know why but they don't look as nice as they used to to me.

  3. Love this! Chances are if a polish has something to do with water I will love it!

  4. This is actually a Milani that I have, just haven't worn it yet.

  5. I really love the shimmery polishes; this one is surely a beauty. I really like Milani polish formulas as they glide on so smoothly and Milani seems to have the best blue shades! I do have a question: blues seem to leave the worst stains on the nail. Any suggestions? (Lemon juice lightens well, but a blueish is still there.)

    1. Well my nails stay stained all the time, but when I get a blue or red stain, I use baking soda and a toothbrush. This one didn't stain mine blue though. ♥
