Mint Manis for Talia Joy - Blogger Collaboration

Today, Friday July 18, 2013, lots of people in the nail polish/beauty blogging community are getting together to remember Talia Joy by posting mint manicures. The last Instagram she posted showed her rocking a mint mani.

For those of you who don't know, Talia was a beautiful thirteen year old girl who was battling two horrible forms of cancer, neuroblastoma and preleukemia.  She lost her battle, though valiantly fought, on July 16, 2013. She was also a supremely talented make up and nail artist. You might have seen her amazing appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show, where she was also made an honorary Cover Girl! So here's my manicure in remembrance of her beautiful, joyous, buoyant and loving soul.

I used Zoya Neely and Sea Lore Seafetti for this simple mani.

Talia lived her life to the fullest and her journey is not over. Wherever she is, I am sure she is a blessing to all she meets.
