Contrary Polish - Blood Orange, Greenhouse and Indigo Rose

Today I have three polishes from Contrary Polish's Color Context Collection to show you - Blood Orange, Greenhouse and Indigo Rose. These are my first Contrary Polishes and I'm impressed at the depth and complexity of the shimmers!

Blood Orange is a deep red-orange with red and gold shimmer. Two coats and one coat of Poshe top coat. No issues for formula or application.

Greenhouse is a green-leaning teal with green and gold shimmer, giving it a glowy green appearance. This one starts out thin and splotchy with the first coat, but the color builds nicely and is perfect in 3 light coats. One coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

Indigo Rose is an indigo blue shimmer polish with purple, violet and gold shimmer that gives it a true indigo appearance. No issues with formula or application. Three light coats and one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

What do you think of these three? My favorite of the three is Blood Orange. So luscious! But the shimmer is very complex in all three and I had a devil of a time trying to photograph them. Believe me, they are better in person.

    I don't think I can pick a favorite! Next time I place buy polish online I'm pretty sure I'm going to include some Contrary Polish.

    I am so glad you liked them. I took a chance and bought a few mini bottles directly from her blog and was really pleasantly surprised. The shimmer in most of them adds a nice complexity and it's almost palate cleansing after the various glitter bombs or raging holos I see everywhere (and also wear).

    I bought Greenhouse, so excited! But now I wish I'd got Indigo Rose as well, it's a beauty!
