Are you ready to start the Kiko Sugar Mat Collection "shimmers?" Tonight I have part 3 of 4 - starting the final 8 polishes which are the "Pearly Mats."
Continued after the jump...
As I stated when I did the quick one-finger swatches, my first impression was that I loved them because the formula was great on all of them - two coats, just a minute or so dry time between coats. No top coat of course. I did no clean up at all and was extra pleased that they weren't messy to apply.
After wearing them, my impressions haven't changed. As is the nature of any textured polish (and with my tendency toward picking at things) the edge of the nail is somewhat rough no matter what I do, so I take a light buffer to the edge to knock off any little bits that hang off the edge. Even with that, I really didn't have tip wear.
The formulas were the same on all of them. There are 8 "cremes" - Full Matte and 8 "shimmers" - Pearly Matte. These are the first 4 of the 8 "shimmers."

Well only 4 left! Which are your favorites so far? Out of these 4, I'm picking #640 Poppy Red - you know, the deep orange one. LOL! I just have to assume that the names loose something in translation from Italian to English. Overall, though, I'm still sticking with #632 True Red and #638 Taupe as my favorites...so far.
To clarify, these are pretty much sold out through Kiko's site, which doesn't ship to the US anyway but...
The entire Kiko Sugar Mat Collection will be available at Ninja Polish! These will be listed on the site very soon and you will be able to sign up for email notifications when they become available for purchase.
Be sure and follow Ninja Polish on social media for the latest updates - and of course I'll post on my own Facebook page when they show up on the site.

Poppy Red is sooo gorgeous!! And Mandarin Orange is super pretty too!
ReplyDeletePoppy Red should be the 100% dupe to the orange OPI (can't remember the name right now) and it's the one that sold out fastest over here in Italy!
ReplyDeleteYoru swatches look so cute! I was looking for Strawberry Pink or any shimmery sand polish on Kiko and they were all sold out :(
