piCture pOlish Shy Violet - Swatches and Review

Nothing to Disclose
*This product is Cruelty Free

Happy Saturday! Hope you're enjoying your weekend so far! Mine has consisted of crawling in and out from under my car trying to replace a strut. Hot. Frustrating. BUT my nails, I must say, are gorgeous. I'm wearing one of the new piCture pOlish Collaboration Shades - Shy Violet!

Shy Violet was created in collaboration with Rachel aka Glam Polish and is described by piCture pOlish as an "electric neon purple jelly scattered holo." I'd call it purple for sure but it does lean to the red-violet side of the spectrum slightly. It's totally gorgeous. The scattered holo particles are like tiny flakes and they sparkle like mad in the sun. This one is a jelly so I used three coats for opacity and one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos. No issues whatsoever to report.

(*The last photo, a macro shot, is without top coat so you can see that it dries to a "wax" or semi-matte finish. This is actually how I prefer to wear this one.)

Continued after the jump...

What do you think of this one? The color is just STUNNING and the combo of a jelly formula with the micro-flake particles is perfection for my personal tastes. As I said, it dries to a "wax" finish on its own and while top coat makes it super shiny and sparkly, I actually prefer it without - again, my own personal taste. I really loved this one.
