Today I have a special preview of an upcoming Duo from Pahlish called the Lady Adelaide Duo - to celebrate the opening of their Big Cartel shop! This duo is set to release on Friday, September 6, 2013. I'd only ever tried two polishes by Pahlish before and I really liked both of them, so I was excited to review this duo.
This duo consists of Ideas of Things, a medium grey with blue undertones and green shimmer/micro-flakes, and Colder than a Wave, a clear-based glitter polish with grey, silver and lavender glitters.

Ideas of Things - a medium grey with blue undertones and green shimmer. I used two coats of this one for full opacity with no top coat for the photos. The formula on this one was great. No issues at all. It's just a smidge thicker than the less opaque polishes but it self-levels perfectly. The shimmer and/or micro-flakes are stunning.

Colder than a Wave - a clear-based glitter polish with grey, silver and lavender glitters in varying shapes and sizes. I first layered this one over Ideas of Things - two light coats and one coat of Poshe top coat. No issues at all with formula or application. Everything came out of the bottle easily, spread nicely and laid flat on the nail. At the end, I've also layered my accent nail with Colder than a Wave over a plain black creme.

What do you think of these? I really liked them - Ideas of Things is my favorite but they really look great together! And I really like the name Ideas of Things. Not sure why but it really grabs me.
