Weekend Bits and Bobs

Another uneventful week here. Took the boat out, went to a car show and just the normal stuff. But you know, at this stage of my life, I really do enjoy "uneventful" most of the time. I play with the dogs and just putter around. It's really quite nice and I don't miss the "rat race" at all. I am pretty ready for a trip though.
I seemed to still be in a matchy matchy mood this week. And I did read that "monochromatic is the 'new black'" - and that's just another way to say matchy matchy and convince people it's a new and fresh concept LOL!

I bought a couple of the Urban Decay Revolution lipsticks on sale (regular retail $22 each) - in Jilted and Venom. I LOVE THEM! They don't last as long as some of the "24 hour" stuff but they are well pigmented and very creamy and smooth and once they're set there is minimal transfer.

I love cars so the car show was great. I have to admit I probably spent more time saying hello to all the dogs than looking at the cars though!

ReplyDeleteLove the Union Jack nails and the lippies! I'm the same way, I always pay more attention to dogs wherever I am, haha! The zombie mani is awesome, would have been perfect for my town's "Zombiecon" last night!

ReplyDeleteI'm so with you on the joy of the "uneventful". Puttering around and playing with my dogs is now my definition of a great weekend, topped off with watching "The Walking Dead".
