Weekend Bits and Bobs - October 5, 2013

I don't know the last time I was so ready to see the weekend - what a WEEK! Nothing special, just frustrating.

Started with the iPhone update. GAH! After the update, everything on the phone worked EXCEPT the phone part. I ended up having to to a complete system restore, but it's working now!

I have seen all of the snow photos from my Northern-Dweller friends on Facebook, but here it's still in the upper 90s and MY AC WENT OUT! Thankfully, it was only the capacitor.

So I got out for under $200!! WINNING!

I finally broke down and ordered a Dior lipstick (my first one!) along with a regular order for my favorite perfume and Fedex SmartPost LOST the package!

Grrrrrrrrrrr!

I love Fedex, but Fedex SmartPost is the stupidest thing ever anyway.

But I did pick up a few little things to perk up my week - aside from finally getting the new Chanel FNO polishes on order (can't wait!)  - more Wet n Wild Fergie stuff...

You already know I love how saturated and long-lasting the eye shadow palettes are, but the lipsticks are actually good too! They apply well, aren't dry and last a decent amount of time. I can't go all day without reapplying, but almost!

I also have some pretty great friends - there are two riding lawnmowers my neighbor uses to take care of my yard - both needing a trip in to the repair shop. A friend (the local doctor - gotta love small towns) is coming this morning with a truck and trailer to pick them up and haul them into the repair shop.
