Illamasqua Gothiqua

Limited Edition
The Bay Canada Exclusive Shade
The Sacred Hour Collection

Illamasqua Gothiqua is a limited edition shade from the Sacred Hour Collection created as an exclusive shade for the grand opening of the Illamasqua store at The Bay Canada. This one is a gorgeous shade of aubergine with purple undertones, blue-leaning purple undertones, making it a perfect cool-toned polish. It also has a gorgeous shimmer. I can't decide if it's green, blue and violet shimmers or a color-shifting shimmer. The thing I loved about this one is that the shimmer isn't so in your face as to appear frosty. Perfect formula and application. Creamy, smooth and perfectly self-leveling.

Continued after the jump...

I used two coats of Gothiqua and one coat of top coat for the photos.

Artificial lighting...

Indirect natural lighting...

Thankfully I have some awesome Canadian friends, otherwise I may not have been able to get my hands on this beauty. It's supposed to be an LE shade exclusive to The Bay Canada so I assume it won't be available elsewhere, but I've been wrong about that before with exclusive limited edition shades that later become more widely available. So if you have a chance to get it from The Bay now, I'd grab it, but you never know. It wouldn't hurt to keep an eye out down the road.

What do you think? I really love this one, but you know me and the plum/purple/violet shades. Total sucker.
