Indie Polish: Black Duo Holo and Odd Duck - Swatches and Review

*This product is Cruelty Free

Tonight I have 2 more polishes from Indie Polish to show you! Black Duo Holo and Odd Duck.

Indie Polish
Black Duo Holo and Odd Duck

Continued after the jump...

Black Duo Holo is a black/deep charcoal holographic polish that has TWO kinds of holo - linear AND scattered! The formula was great - no issues at all to report. I used two coats and no top coat for the photos.

Artificial lighting...

Indirect natural lighting...

Odd Duck is clear-based bar glitter polish with pink, red, green, yellow and blue short bar glitters. The bars suspend well in the base and spread nicely on the nail. No issues to report. This one can be worn alone with 3-4 coats but I've chosen to layer one coat over black so you can really see it. One coat of top coat for the photos.

What do you think? I really love Black Duo Holo the most.

Here's a little about the brand and creator if it's new to you!

My polish is 3 free and vegan. I test all new glitters and pigments for 2-3 months. My polishes are made in small batches, and we cater to all types of polishes, from holos to glitter bombs and rich cremes. I am inspired by things that oddly go together and work phenomenally well. I have a 6 year old special needs son who has also named, and created color mixes out of glitters for polish as well. The mixes of textures, colors and depth help create polishes that I believe are quite unique. We are located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. However we ship worldwide. My polish is cruelty free. Extensively tested on friends, family, myself and often bloggers before it's released, I am confidant in my polish and my company as a whole!

You can purchase this one or check out her other creations at her Etsy shop here. Polishes retail for between $8.60 and $9.58. You can also follow at the links below:

  1. Black Duo Holo is very beautiful! Now Odd Duck... I don't know why, but I don't like this kind of glitter :(

  2. I don't care much for bar glitter usually, but I really like the effect of Odd Duck's multicolored glitter over black!
