Girly Bits Cosmetics
Holiday Holos 2013

This is my favorite collection Girly Bits has ever done - I'll just say that right off the bat. And it contains two of my favorite polishes she's ever made. Ever. And that's saying something!

Swatches and review after the jump...

This collection consists of 4 holographic shades and I about couldn't get them swatched because I wanted to wear them all. The formula and application on all four of these were the same. I used two coats for full opacity and a top coat only on Crantini. The application was smooth and easy and I have no issues to report with any of them.

So let's have a look! We'll go alphabetically and I'll tell you my favorites at the end.

Auld Langs Wyne is a muted burgundy wine linear holo.

Crantini is a cranberry pink holographic polish with what looks like iridescent violet sparkle. This is the only one I used a top coat on for the photos. Check out the indirect natural lighting macro of the sparkle!

Dash Away All is a taupe/sepia holographic that is the perfect blend of grey and brown.

Ho-Ho-Hope is a violet magenta holographic shade.

Was I right? Best Girly Bits Collection ever. I love all four of them but my two favorites are Dash Away All and Ho-Ho-Hope. What are your favorites?

  3. Great swatches. I love all of these. Dash Away is the one I am most likely to purchase, as I have the least like it in my collection.

  5. Would you say Crantini leans toward a warm tone? Seems to have brown in it, unless my eyes are playing tricks on me!

    1. No I don't think so - there's a little everything in the holo arc but it's definitely a cool-toned polish. Warmer than Ho-Ho-Hope but still cool. ♥

  6. I like the wine, the cranberry, and the violet ones best. (Sorry, reading blogs while too sleepy to go back and look up the shade names.)
