Nothing to Disclose

Happy Sunday! Today I just have a new lipstick and some "nail mail" to show you. It's been so cold here (yes COLD in South Texas!) that I haven't done much of anything outside these four walls. One mini-shopping trip and a liquid lunch with a crazy girlfriend, but no one wants photos of that. Well let me re-phrase - if I post photos of that she will kill me.
Continued after the jump...
I made a quick stop by the Chanel and Dior counters and I only ended up with one lipstick. But it's a good one! This is my 3rd in Chanel's Rouge Coco line: Rivoli #21. I love this line because it's hydrating, nicely pigmented and it seems to last really well on me!
I'm having a difficult time describing this color. It's a straight creme that any man would call "red" but it has a hint of brown while at the same time having a cool undertone that makes it work for my skin tone. Because I'm so pale, it does read red on me, but it's sort of a burgundy-berry. The arm swatch is color-accurate.

What an awesome week for the Pointless Cafe.. Awesome mani's and lipsticks! Love your post!
ReplyDeleteBeen enjoying your Japanese manicures! Tell the doggies to chill. We got (gulp) 6 inches of snow in Philly today. Ugh. I live in the wrong climate. But your blog is always a ray of sunshine :)
ReplyDelete♥ I watched the football game in Pittsburgh today - that's what 4 hours or so from you? And the SNOW WAS NUTS in the 1st quarter. If you got snow like that today I'm simultaneously jealous of you and sorry for you. It's great watching on TV and not so great if you have to get out in it. I'm from Indiana and we used to get plenty of snow some years. That first few hours was glorious and the rest of the week was yuck.
ReplyDelete4 inches of snow in central Ohio on Friday! And it is gonna be a chilly week.
ReplyDeleteThose Super Blacks are on my list!!!
