Pahlish
All of Time and Space
Part 1 Collection
You guys have to know how excited I am about anything that mixes Doctor Who and nail polish! Well Pahlish recently released Part 1 of her Doctor Who-themed collection: All of Time and Space. And I have the 6 in Part 1 of this collection to show you tonight! (Part 2 of the Doctor Who-themed collection will make its debut in February.)
This post is very pic-heavy so I hope you've exercised your scrolling finger!
Continued after the jump...
Bad Wolf is a soft grey-taupe creme with loads of violet shimmer and what looks to be gold or copper shimmer? Perfect formula, two coats and no top coat for the photos. Ah, I miss Rose Tyler.

Forest of the Dead is a forest green jelly base positively jam-packed with flakies and shimmer! No issues at all - two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos. Inspired by the Vashta Nerada in The Library.

Lullaby Without End is a bright red jelly base, again, with tons of shimmer (and micro-flakes?) and it also has blue metallic squares and iridescent glitters. No issues with formula or application. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos. This polish was inspired by Queen of Years and her performance of the Long Song.

Mad Man With a Box is a navy blue texture or "leather" polish with metallic gold flakes and blue glass fleck. I'm seeing violet and green sparks as well. This one is perfect on its own or with a top coat. Textures haven't historically been my favorite type of polish, but this one is more like the "leather finish" ones and I just love it. No issues at all with formula or application. Shown with two coats, with and without top coat. We all know the inspiration for this one. Amy Pond definitely found out he wasn't lying. He IS a mad man with a box.

So colorful!

So Not Married is a black jelly base with loads of gold flakes and red or violet shimmer, which give it a more brown appearance than black. It's stunning and that red/violet shimmer really pops. Perfect formula. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos. This one was inspired by Donna and yeah, she and the doctor? SO not married.

Yes, it's a color-shifter!

The Ghost Shift is a darkened silver holo with iridescent purple micro-flakes that peek through in lower lighting and in bright light, there's almost a metallic sheen. I apologize that I didn't do this one justice at all. I had no sun and it's just really so much prettier than my photos show. Inspired by the armor of the Cybermen.

What a great collection of polishes! My favorites are So Not Married, Bad Wolf and The Ghost Shift but they are all beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful swatches and photos! I'm loving this collection, my favorites are Forest of the Dead, Mad Man with a Box and So Not Married. I just crave beautiful flecky shimmers like these that Shannon does so well! Lullaby Without End reminds me a little bit of Anticipating and Pacing -- the combination of the red base with the blue glitter is so fetching.
ReplyDeleteI've been debating buying this collection since it came out and still haven't bought it yet. I really think I need to do it soon since all the polishes are beautiful! Great swatches too, my favorite is The Ghost Shift.
ReplyDeleteOooh! Forest of the Dead and So Not Married!
