I Was Only Saying Hello

Okay, if you have followed me for long, you know I'm a Whovian, so I'm super excited to be showing you a Who-inspired collection from Red Dog Designs! There are 13 polishes in the collection and over the next few days, I'll be showing you all of them!

If you missed Doctor Donna, click here or Fish Fingers and Custard, click here.

This evening, I have I Was Only Saying Hello for you. ♥

This one is good because you get Tennant as the Doctor, Martha AND Captain Jack! When Jack meets Martha for the first time, he was sort of flirting and got an "oh don't start" from The Doctor - to which he replied defensively "I was only saying hello." So cute!

Continued after the jump...

I Was Only Saying Hello is a clear-based glitter polish with various sizes of hexes in several shades of blue, periwinkle and grey and a generous sprinkling of holo shimmer/micro-glitter. Great formula, glitters are well-suspended and come out of the bottle easily. No issues at all! Two coats and one top coat over a plain grey base (Essence Movie Star).

Shiny...

And matte...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once again, I really love it matte! Paired with the grey base, it really does have a totally Doctor Who feel!

  1. I love that someone has finally given some love to Donna and Jack - you don't see them show up often in other DW collections. That said, this really is a perfect match for Jack... all the macho butchness in the big blue and grey hexes... a softer side in the periwinkle smaller hexes, and the twinkle in his eye with those micro holos. PERFECT! John Barrowman would be impressed. Probably.

  2. This embodies Jack, perfectly. He's always been a favorite of mine and I was so excited to see John Barrowman show up on Arrow on the CW!
