VALENTINE'S DAY COLLECTION 2014

I know this is a bit later than I wanted it to be, but this collection (for Valentine's Day) from Above the Curve is just lovely and I think the polishes work all year as well as for Valentine's Day. Plus they're still available in their shop. So I have swatches for you!

All You Need is Love Wine is a shimmery aubergine crelly with red and brown in the base along with tons of holo shimmer and various sizes of red, bright pink, lavender, purple, fuchsia, garnet, bronze, gold, cinnamon and rose glitters. The glitters - about 75% of them were settled to the bottom when I received this one. Easily fixable by letting it sit upside down for a few minutes or using my toothpick method to "float" the glitters. I quite liked the amount of glitters I got without doing this though. Of course, if you like more glitters, just use a toothpick to scrape down the sides and across the bottom all the way around the bottle real quick and BOOM, more glitters! The ones that I got came out easily and spread nicely on the nail. This formula was a bit thicker than the others but I had no issues with formula or application. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.
