Today I'll be showing you a new-to-me brand called Ten Over Ten. To be honest, before I bought these, I'd never even heard of them before. I don't remember the exact circumstances, but I did get them at Sephora online.
Ten Over Ten polishes are 5-Free and Cruelty-Free and retail for $18 for 15 mL bottles. The bottles are very hefty, square and chunky and I quite liked them.
Continued after the jump...
Elizabeth is a magenta creme. It's uncomplicated and classic. The formula was good. Creamy. No issues to report. Two coats and no top coat for the photos.
Artificial lighting...
Indirect natural lighting...

Wall St. is a bit more complicated in that it's a duo-chrome. This one shifts between various shades of shimmery grey/grey-lavender to a sort of light burgundy/dusty purple. This one can be worn alone or over black for a great duo-chrome effect. No issues to report. Formula was smooth and easy. Two coats and no top coat for the photos.
Artificial lighting...
Indirect natural lighting...
And a quick one coat over a plain black creme...
You can even see some teal making an appearance when layered over black.

Have you tried Ten Over Ten polishes yet? They are a tad on the pricey side, but you do get a decent formula and a full 15 mL. I can't see myself "collecting" these, but if I see a really unique shade, I'd probably purchase again.
What do you think? Since duo-chromes aren't really my favorite finish, Elizabeth is my favorite of the two.
I didn't find a Facebook page, but you can follow them on Twitter and IG @tenoverten_nyc. They're available at Sephora and they are available at two salons in NYC. You can check the Ten Over Ten site for more details.

Wall St. reminds us of a muted Space Cadet from Orly :)
ReplyDeleteI'd like to visit one of their salons. They're supposed to have a nice selection of polishes from Chanel, Nars, RGB, etc.
ReplyDeleteReally like Elizabeth. Into magenta cremes right now - maybe I've been too influenced by the Pantone people!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful magenta. It looks like it would be very complementary to the lip color in your pic!
ReplyDeleteI love Elizabeth! So pretty!
