Valentine Fun with Above the Curve

*These products are Cruelty Free

Today I have a few quick and easy Valentine's Day manis for you featuring Above the Curve!

Valentine Fun
with Above the Curve

And I have full swatches for you of Dusty Huntin' and What No Buy?!

Continued after the jump...

But first some fun...

This is just a quick gradient using What No Buy? and Dusty Huntin'...

And then I added an accent nail with Above the Curve Circle of Love...

And I placed a few hearts on the other nails...

Then I used Above the Curve Diva P (a great holo topper) over plain pink and red creme polishes...

And I used a striping brush and the red creme for the letters and heart...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

So let's have a closer look at a couple of those Above the Curve polishes.

Dusty Huntin' is a true red tightly scattered holo. Great formula and application. No issues at all. Two coats and no top coat for the photos.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What No Buy? is a yellow gold shimmer holo with tiny holo micro-glitters. No issues with this one either! I used two coats here with one coat of top coat but I'd probably do three light coats next time. I knew I was going to do a gradient so 2 was enough.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's no secret I love Above the Curve polishes. And I love their customer service and their mission as well.

What do you think? Of course Dusty Huntin' is my favorite of the four shown in this post - yours?

Above the Curve polishes are available on their Big Cartel shop here and their Etsy shop here.  And now they are also available at Overall Beauty! You can also follow Above the Curve on Facebook here  and Overall Beauty on Facebook here to stay up-to-date on availability, new collections, promos, etc. The BEST part? $1 of every bottle sold goes to Shriner's Hospital for Children! Full-sized bottles retail for between $8.50 and $9.00.

  5. I'm loving that gradient, and I think that's a really cute Valentine-themed mani, even though I'm the only one on the planet that can't handle red and pink together in the same room, lol.
