Weekend Bits and Bobs: March 9, 2014 - New Lipsticks, Time Change, Ugly Baby and a Blogaversary!

Buenos Dias! It's raining here, which usually means I'm a happy camper. The front that brought it also brought more confusion for my sinuses but Tylenol can sort that out - I'm just happy for rain. I got epic nail mail, which I've been swatching like a madwoman to show you later. And Monday is Pointless Cafe's 3 year anniversary so I'm planning a giveaway for you guys! Working on getting things together but I know Chanel is involved!

I picked up a couple more Milani lipsticks. I love the formula of their Color Statement line! I grabbed #01 Sweet Nectar and #01 Violet Volt.

I'll show you after the jump...

Violet Volt is described as a "metallic" and Sweet Nectar as a matte. Other than a some shimmer in Violet Volt, I didn't notice much difference and probably wouldn't have used the word "metallic" to describe it. They're both super pigmented and have great moisturizing formulas.

Favorite manis of the week...

I really enjoyed my Extend-A-Mani Mickey and Minnie nail art.

Superficially Colorful Giggly is AMAZING!

And 6 Harts Blow Me a Raspberry garnered tons of compliments. It's such a lovely shade!

And I had the best time swatching all of the KBShimmer Spring 2014 Collection polishes!

And my favorite was playing around with the cremes for some Spring nail art.

And I had a dream that I won the lottery. Like 100s of millions! I even dreamed the numbers. I don't have any notion that I'll be telling you it came true anytime soon though, unfortunately.

I read somewhere that a wise Indian once said that ONLY the white man would think that he could cut the end off of a rug and then sew it on the other end and the rug would be longer....
