Chanel Reflets D'ete Collection
Summer 2014

The Chanel Reflets D'ete Collection for Summer 2014 is made up of 5 polishes - 4 brand new and one re-promote from 2012.

Eastern Light 613 - re-promote from 2012 - Limited Edition (white)
Sweet Lilac 615 - Limited Edition (lavender/lilac)
Pink Tonic 619 - Limited Edition (rose pink)
Tutti Frutti 621 - (coral)
Mirabella 623 - Limited Edition (orange)

Continued after the jump...

The new ones I have today...

The formula on all 4 of these was perfection. Smooth and creamy. All but Sweet Lilac are nearly one-coaters. By nearly, I mean after that first coat you're thinking "man if I didn't have to take photos of these so close I would totally wear this with one coat." But close photos are very unforgiving, so two coats it is. I've used two coats on all four of these with no top coat for all photos.

-----------------------------------------------------

Sweet Lilac 615 is a lilac creme with a subtle lilac shimmer that's more apparent in the bottle than on the nail.

Pink Tonic 619 is a rose pink creme with subtle shimmer that is more apparent in the bottle than on the nail.

Tutti Frutti 621 is a medium coral creme, again with a very subtle shimmer that is more apparent in the bottle than on the nail.

Mirabella 623 is bright orange creme with no shimmer.

And finally, Eastern Light (originally from the Hong Kong Collection 2012). I did a review on this one back in 2013 and you can see that by clicking the link below.

Chanel Eastern Light

What do you think of this Summer offering from Chanel? I know some people will be disappointed in cremes, but for me, it's perfect. It's no secret I'm a creme lover through and through and the formula on these were just perfect.

I'll be comparing Mirabella with Holiday and a few other oranges soon and if you have any other comparison requests, I'll do my best to oblige either in a new blog post or on my Facebook page.

These retail for $27 and are available in the US now at select Chanel counters and on chanel.com.

    2. Just saw it! I put my finger which has Wonderland on it beside the photo and it seems that Wonderland has more pink in it.
