Continued after the jump...

Board Walk Empire is a gorgeous blue linear holo. The holo is really strong on this one and sort of wigged out my camera. This is also a ONE-coater. Shown is one coat with no top coat! No issues at all with formula or application. Smooth, easy and creamy.

City of Ember is a very saturated, warm-toned yellow gold linear holo. The formula and application were great on this one as well. Smooth and creamy, two light coats and no top coat for the photos.

For these next two toppers, I chose a base of Chanel Magic...

Shine On Me is a 24 carat gold flake in a clear base with gold micro-glitter. The flakes in this one are larger than I've seen in others but the base, because it needs to keep the flakes suspended, is thick. That's typical for all the gold flake top coats I've tried. The trick with application for these, for me anyway, is brushing onto a makeup wedge and picking the flakes back up with the brush to apply. It gets rid of a little of the thicker base so you don't have a thick build up. I used one coat over Chanel Magic with one coat of top coat for the photos.

Walk of Fame is a super strong linear top coat. I've layered ONE coat of this one over a base of Chanel Magic as well. No issues to report at all. No top coat for the photos but I applied one later to make sure that it doesn't diminish the holo effect and it doesn't!

What do you think? Favorites? Will you (or have you already) grabbed any of these yet? Of course I'm partial to Pointless Cafe but if you've been following long you'll know it's not because of the name - it's just one of my favorite shades. Of the 4 today, my favorite is Board Walk Empire. Seriously one coat!

These polishes are available at the NailNation 3000 Store Envy shop here, some alone or in the trio as described above. You can also follow along on the NailNation Facebook to stay informed and see more swatches!

  1. These polishes are remarkable. I don't own any NailNation, but I think I might have to change that!

  2. They look really good! I've only tried one polish from Nailnation 3000 but was very impressed with the formula on that one.
