Weekend Bits and Bobs: April 6, 2014 - Dior, Winecups, Wheeler Dealers, Doctor Who, New Shoes for Me and the Car

Not an over the top fantastic or exceptionally interesting week, but not totally uneventful. Had I gotten on the ball and replaced my Social Security card sooner, we would have gone gambling this weekend, which would have helped. I fully intend on winning and they require it before they'll pay out. Maybe next weekend!

This week brought lots of pretties to swatch for you and my ripped nail grew enough where there's no blood and acetone doesn't send me into orbit so I'm playing catch-up as fast as I can! Also received a Spring Swap package with lots of pretties and nummies.

The car got new tires, which means less polish money, but safety first! Took this pic while I was waiting...

Winecups are popping up everywhere!!! My favorite thing about living here in the Spring.

And strawberries are really good here this time of year...but only with chocolate.

And my new shoes came! This time in the right size. Most comfortable shoes. Ever.  AGL (Attilio Guisti Leombruni) Toe Cap Ballet Flats. Nordstrom had a Build-Your-Own deal so I got to choose the shoe color, the strap color and the toe color. Took this pic while I was waiting my happy butt in the Social Security office.

And finally, my favorite mani of the week was NailNation 3000's "Pointless Cafe" - it's just so gorgeous and so me! That's my "wrong hand" and a cell pic to boot and it's still gorgeous! I'll be blogging about that one and about 7 other NailNation 3000 polishes soon!

I think the thing I was most excited about this week, more than polish, more than new tires, more than new shoes was that I now get BBCA in my regular cable line-up and I don't have to switch to DirecTV!

I watched lots of Doctor Who and Top Gear...looking forward to Graham Norton and I just found out today that I get Velocity which means Wheeler Dealers!

The bad part of this entire week was being sick the whole time. I just took my last antibiotic pill last night and I sure hope they stay in your system and keep working because I am SO not over this. And I'm sort of a whiny baby when I'm sick and miserable, so it needs to stop right now!
